FAAC Incorporated is headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan. For more than 30 years FAAC has provided systems engineering and software products to the United States government and private industry. Additionally, we have committed ourselves to the principles of customer satisfaction, concern for employees, business integrity, and community involvement.

FAAC conducts tactical air and land combat analysis, and develops analytic models, simulations, and turn-key training systems for the U.S. Military and their related industrial contractors. We provide a wide variety of services encompassing all stages of a job-from problem definition to conceptual innovation to final solution. This work draws on expertise in air and land warfare tactics, weapon guidance, avionics, tactical air and surface launched weapons, electronic warfare, sensors, threat air defenses (surface-to-air and air-to-air), weapon system trainers, and training ranges. Among other talents, FAAC is the world's leading supplier of accurate, high-speed weapon system simulations. As a result of successfully performing this type of work for over thirty years, we have an excellent reputation with both developmental and operational military activities.

We've been involved with distributed simulations since the inception of DIS standards development. This has led to FAAC personnel holding leadership positions on the DIS Workshop and has developed diverse products based on our unique weapon simulations and DIS expertise.

Our recognition of the extensive expertise we possessed was developed performing numerous DoD programs and that it could be applied to the commercial sector. We investigated various applications and initiated the following projects:

FAAC's first commercial product was the development of an interactive, reconfigurable truck driving simulator. The simulator provides a high degree of realism, with the ability to create various scenarios from the Instructor Operator Station. The design flexibility of the simulator provides a cost effective method for driver training and testing.

We've applied our expertise in high fidelity weapon models, graphical databases and intelligent automated behavior models to the entertainment field. FAAC has developed a PC-based air combat game called "Back to Baghdad."

FAAC has been successful for many reasons-corporate focus on achieving excellence, consistently delivering quality services and products on time and within budget, and the ability to attract and retain qualified personnel. We continually strive to improve our ability to develop quality products.
