It's also extremely resistant to a broad range of threats including vehicle accidents, falls, fires, explosions, cuts, etc. KEVLARŪ offers excellent resistance to water and petroleum products, including motor oil and lubricants, and it has superior chemical resistance and is chemically stable under a wide variety of exposure conditions.

Military applications for KEVLARŪ include vests, helmets, gloves, parachutists' rough terrain suits, anti-mine boots, mine removal chaps, explosive ordnance disposal suits and ballistic blankets.
