Multi-Role Weapon System

Bushmaster IV, the weapon system for both manned and Remotely-Controlled Turret (RCT) systems with multi-role performance.

This will give a tactical freedom for every operation and handling all aspect of escalating conflict situations.

The RCT system increases both survivability of the operators and performance.

The RCT system also decreases the weight and volume according manned systems.

The Bushmaster IV weapon system under development is the next generation Chain Gun combined with Bofors 40 mm L/70 ammunition (front page integrated in a CV 9040 turret).

The multi-role weapon system enhances the Bushmaster tradition of excellence with its design simplicity, external power, positive round control, ease of maintenance and constant velocity ammunition feed.

It incorporates significant system commonality for low-risk, proven performance.

The Bushmaster IV requires 5 hp (3.7 kW) at 24 volts to operate, fires from a cook off safe open bolt with absolute hangfire protection, and ejects forwards. It fires NATO standard 40×365mm ammunition from an integral linkless feed and has a recoil force of 62,272 N.
