Designation:

Mini Crusher

Info
Manufacturer: Carnegie Mellon’s National Robotics Engineering Center - NREC
Product type: Auxiliary Vehicles
Name: Robot, Unmanned Vehicle

Mini Crusher universal robotic platform was created by NREC specialists taking into account developments in the Crusher UGV, but in much smaller dimensions. Thanks to the suspension design of the 6-wheel chassis, the robot is able to overcome complex obstacles and has good stability even at high speeds. As the tasks performed, it was planned to conduct research and monitoring of hazardous areas, neutralization of explosive objects, reconnaissance and surveillance, transportation of goods.

The Mini Crusher's weight is 56.7 kg, while it is capable of carrying a payload of up to 45 kg in an open cargo hold with a capacity of 1,970 cubic meters. see Compact dimensions - 76x 51x30 cm - can easily transport it. Electric transmission on all six wheels can accelerate to a speed of 24 km/h, overcome the rises of more than 40 deg., Move on gravel, stones, logs. The production is carried out from serial industrial lead-acid batteries.
