The two man CV90 turret is fitted with the 40mm Bofors L70 gun with a 24 round magazine. The magazine is divided into three compartments allowing rapid shift between ammunition natures. Rate of fire can be single shot, 60 rounds/min or 300 rounds/min. Maximum range is 2000 m for ground targets and 4000 m for air targets. The gunner has a UTAAS stabilised sight with a fire control computer and electro hydraulic turret and gun drives. For use as an anti-aircraft system the turret can be supplied with a radar system and uprated laser and fire control computer.
