Ultra Electronics - Tactical Communication Systems (Ultra-TCS) is a leading supplier of tactical Line of Sight (LOS) radio relay terminals, software defined high capacity radios and IP based communications systems for land forces and homeland defense.

Ultra -TCS is a Division of the Ultra Electronics group. Ultra Electronics is a group of specialist businesses designing, manufacturing and supporting electronic and electromechanical systems, sub-systems and products for defense, security and aerospace applications worldwide with head offices in the UK.

Based in Montreal, Canada, Ultra-TCS has recently moved to its offices and production facility to 5990 Cote de Liesse. The new facilities provide increased office space for research and development and for manufacturing operations and will enable us to meet the growing requirements of our Customers for advanced communications systems.

In addition to the large manufacturing capability Ultra TCS has developed a strong engineering team for the development of software defined radios. Software defined radios are considered an essential technology to meet the changing requirements of modern armies.

Ultra-TCS is a world class supplier of communications system solutions for armies throughout the world. Ultra-TCS has supplied the last three generations of LOS radio relay for the U.S. Army and is currently the prime contractor for the provision of upgraded AN/TRC-190 radio relay shelters for increment 1 of the US Army WIN-T program.
