On February 18, 2011, the international technology group RUAG has taken over the business of the German BASE TEN SYSTEMS Electronics GmbH.

  • has specialized in the effective implementation and use of microprocessor supported technologies

  • is known for “on time” and “conform to spec” performance

  • is now a system house and main contractor to the German Ministry of Defence

  • offers new solutions for reconnaissance and autonomous navigation

  • is pioneering unmanned ground vehicles, which will act under satellite based remote control, offer a hybrid drive train and use sophisticated sensor fusion

  • is primarily addressing the defence market helping to decrease the risk for our soldiers and to increase their ability to prevail, thereby easing the job of military forces, to protect us and the citizens of far away countries, who are under the protection of the international community
