The PG-2 sighting periscope assembly is designed for indirect and direct aiming of the 122 mm 2A31 howitzer fitted to the Soviet 2S1 Gvozdika (Carnation) self-propelled howitzer that was licence-built in Bulgaria. This is a Russian sight which is made in Bulgaria and which has also been license-built in other countries.
