Automotive Technik is now part of Stewart & Stevenson's Tactical Vehicle Systems (TVS) Division.

Centre stage on the ATL is one of the first production Pinzgauer 6x6 Armoured Variants, in the configuration which is being supplied to the New Zealand Ministry of Defence LOV (Light Operational Vehicle) requirement.

Pinzgauer RDV is the latest variant in growing range.

British Pinzgauer all-terrain vehicle manufacturer, Automotive Techlnik, shows its latest Pinzgauer based Rapid Deployment Vehicle (RDV) as part of the DMA British Pavilion at IDEX 2003. Derived from the 6x6 TUM HO Pinzgauer variant, the RDV features a low profile super structure comprising a rollover protection hoop and a removable support structure. The support structure, which normally carries a diameter 1022mm ring mount, may be detached to permit the vehicle to be restored to general utility role.

The Pinzgauer is already regarded by many military users as the best all-terrain vehicle in its class on account of its legendary performance, rugged durability, exceptional mobility and multi-role versatility. ATL?s ability to adapt and develop the Pinzgauer for an increasingly wide range of operational roles is directly compatible with today?s military thinking of providing an effective, flexible, rapid reaction and ail portable capability to fulfil a range of deployments at anytime.
