Affordable Towing was started in April 1993 by Devin J. Statts, and started out with rented tow truck which they had to buy within 2 months, whether they succeeded or not. In June 1993 Devin bought his very first "state of the art" tow truck, a GMC3500HD w/ holmes 440-2B unit. . In Aug. 1994 a Ford F350 Car Carrier was added to expand the clientele and fleet. In November 1995 the Ford F350 Car Carrier was replaced by a "State of the Art" unit built by Devin himself see Isuzu Unit below.

December of 1993 Devin made the leap into the medium duty market by purchasing a 1993 International 4700 w/Jerr Dan Cougar backhalf. It is a Isuzu FTR w/Century 21' Aluminum Bed and independent wheellift. .

In April 1996 the "Big Daddy" was born in the form of a KW T400 w/Century backhalf (20 ton).The 1993 GMC 3500 HD which was the very first truck Devin bought has been retired after 8 years& 240,000 miles of faithful service.

In Feb. of 2000 Devin added in his latest "Big Daddy II" in the form of a 2001 KWT600 500HP w/NRC backhalf (60 ton sliding boom). The fleet has grown in size to 6 "State of the Art" units that are serving the Hawaiian Island of Oahu.

Affordable Towing has also added some new units that it's added to the fleet including a Heavy Rescue Recovery Unit which will be on the road by Aug. 1, 2002. It will feature Low & High Air Pressure Cushions including portable 1000 watt spotlights.Check out the new section to be added soon. Affordable Towing has added a 53 ton 53' sliding 3 axle trailer service to it's fleet of equipment to help haul equipment to and from jobsites and to help pull containers.
