In the E4 turret, a conventional two-man turret for arming medium- and heavyweight infantry vehicles, the commander and gunner are accommodated next to each other. Similar to the E8 version, the E4 turret is equipped with a 30 mm automatic cannon, a stabilized line of sight with day and night vision and a modern fire control system.

- Combating ground targets, incl. armoured infantry fighting vehicles
- Support of dismounted infantry
