The MK 20 Rh 202 is a precision weapon with a high rate of fire of 1,000 rds/min. Its long combat range and high accuracy allow engagement of targets which cannot be reached with rifles, machine guns and early models of 20 mm guns. Based upon high reliability and the simple design of the weapon, the MK 20 is qualified for a wide range of applications.

The MK 20 is currently in service in the following systems:

German MARDER 1 A3 IFV, German LUCHS recovery vehicle, German WIESEL airborne tank, single field gun FK 20-2, twin AA gun LAAG, single naval gun S 20 SV 20, TH Condor APC, FIAT/OTO-Breda 6616 APC, VCTP IFV.
