The RG31 Mk 5E APC is a 4x4 armoured vehicle with a maximum combat mass of 17 000 kg. Dimensions (RG31 Mk5 EHM) The all-steel welded armour monocoque hull protects the crew against small arms fire and anti-tank mine detonations. With permanent 4x4 drive and a two-speed (high and low) transfer gearbox the RG31 Mk 5E APC is easy to drive on road as well as off-road. It is fitted with a 5-speed automatic transmission.
