MOBILITY

The Tactica family was designed to accept a range of different turbo-charged diesel engines to meet customers' preferences, giving road speeds of I20kph. Permanent 4x4 wheel drive, incorporating selectable ratios and three lockable differentials, ensure impressive crosscountry mobility. Full width protected driver's vision areas, comprehensive instrumentation, small turning circle, and power assisted controls, reduce driver fatigue in long-distance deployments.

PROTECTION

Tactica provides armoured protection against 5.56 and 7.62mm ballrounds at point blank range, anti-personnel mines, with vision areas protected to the same level, In addition, enhanced protection against armour-piercing rounds, mines, and indirect fire shell fragments, is available. Run-flat tyres are fitted as standard. The engine and each wheel can be protected by a fire extinguisher system. Machine guns or riot guns can be fitted on pintle mounts or in one-man turrets.

ERGONOMICS

Tactica personnel carrying variants are available with a range of capacities, from 10 man patrol vehicles, to APCs for 14 to 22 personnel. Personnel carrying variants are fitted with fireproof and sound reducing lining, air-conditioning, temperature control, and extractor fans. Seating is fire retardant, and each occupant has a safety harness.
